Donovan Mcnabb is now the quarterback of the Redskins... Awesome. I wrote earlier that we should give Cambell another chance behind a good offensive line, but I am happier with move. Now we have one of our biggest problem areas taken care of for a moment, what should we do next? We need an offensive line, that is a unanimous thought in Washington but what else do we need to try get to the post season this year?
First, lets put Santana Moss in the slot. He is still fast and he can catch. Moss has lost a step it seems, but the slot would be a perfect position for him, get him a chance to get the ball and use his pure athleticism to get in to the endzone. Devin Thomas is a good number two, but we need a number one. I have always liked Marko Mitchell and hope he is ready to play this season. I have not heard anything abou thim but at 6'4 and 220 lbs, he is big and fast and may be just what we need.
Lets get a new cornerback on defense, maybe a new safety, maybe a new linebacker... We need a lot, but this year I hope we can concentrate on possibly going 8-8 and beating the Cowgirls, and the unGodly eagles (Giants too of course) at least once this upcoming season and not getting swept by our division.
