Game Six and a Big Loss to Another No Win Team

Week seven is just about to begin and I, like many other Skins fans, are discouraged, disappointed, and yet somewhat not surprised. As the Washington Redskins lose to another no-win team, many fans are asking the same questions that came about during the preseason. What are we going to do with Jim Zorn? What is going to happen with Jason Campbell? Will we ever score a touchdown? Neither coach nor quarterback seems to be losing a job this week, but what is it going to take for the Redskins to get it together?

Being a lifelong Redskins fan, this situation looks as if it is the same ol’ song and dance. In my opinion let us try to be on the up and up. There is no reason to get down, and a little optimism would not hurt at this point. I am going to look on the bright side and say the Redskins will pull a win out of their hat in a big way this week against the Eagles. This would bring the team to a positive going into their bye week. Having a 3-4 record would not mean the end of all playoff hopes, and maybe the new play caller is exactly what was needed.

Again as we move on, do not just get rid of your season tickets just yet. We still have a lot more football to be played. The most important thing that can be done is just put the past behind us and play on. Just last year the San Diego Charges went 8-8 and still made the playoffs, so do not throw in the towel just yet.
